Maldives is a paradise for scuba diving. The problem of those islands is there's plenty of luxurious hotels. It's really hard to find something simple, but I succeed. The resort on Rihiveli Island is a perfect place for a total disconnection. No Internet, to TV, just you the birds, the ocean.. and those beautiful landscapes.
